We have a service appointment scheduled in Tucson, Arizona, on October 8, so we had to leave Welcome Station and head south on Saturday. We had such a good visit and enjoyed the fellowship and comfortable temperatures! We knew we'd be heading to warmer weather as we headed south.
On Saturday, we headed south on US 93 -- such interesting geography...

High desert and mountains
A road that seems to head off forever in front of us
a canyon
with such magnificent stone walls!

Back to a valley

We stopped for the night at Picketts RV Park in Alamo, Nevada - basic park - gravel "parking lot" but everything works and we were able to get a 50A site which is beneficial since the temps here are mid 90s.

We know it is just going to get warmer as we head south!
