Legacy Bike Trail, Lexington, Kentucky

We got our e-bikes out and went for a ride on Legacy Trail (https://www.visitlex.com/listing/the-legacy-trail/6757/) in Lexington, Kentucky.

A pretty flowering plant along the way

I don't know whether you can detect them, but there were a number of horses (6-8?) outlined against the sky way over at the far point in that pasture.

The "VisitLex" flags were displayed at various points along the trail. The trail was hard surface and in really good condition. There were sign boards along it (you can see one on the outside of the corner) but we didn't stop to read any of them.

When we got back to the rig, Miss Kitty was on the front passenger seat waiting for us... she loves the sunshine!

Carl often says that she wants a purple pillow with gold fringe to lay on... in this case, she was making do with my purple scarf on top of a brown seat cushion!

We have not used our bikes as frequently this year as we had hoped, but it is good to get out and enjoy the views from the speed of a bicycle.
