Friday...

Friday was the last day before the official start of our Christian Fellowship BOF (Birds of a Feather) rally, and several of us decided to drive west from our camping area into Bouse.

We went to the produce market (a fellow sets up there on Thursday and Friday for a few hours) and got some veggies.

We also picked up a package with our forwarded mail from Livingston, TX; it had been sent to the post office in Bouse for General Delivery pickup -- we knew that the post office in Quartzsite gets overwhelmed with General Delivery pickups, and they have *very* limited hours for picking up mail, so we sent to Bouse. Bouse will allow General Delivery by a person only for 30 days -- so I had to register when I picked up my mail. The 30-day counter begins with your first pickup. We're not planning to have any additional mail sent -- this is the first time we'd ever heard about a limitation on how long you could receive General Delivery mail at a post office.

The reason for going to Bouse on Friday was that the restaurant has all-you-can-eat fish and chips starting at noon. We had 10 folks there to enjoy the fish and chips.

The last reason that we had wanted to go was that Nancy let us know that there was a brand new laundry room that was open to the public at one of the campgrounds in Bouse...

It was at the Desert Pueblo RV "Resort"...

12 really nice washers and dryers, and just $2.50 per wash and $2.50 per dryer load.

We didn't have a ton of laundry, but went ahead and got things washed up.

In the evening, another beautiful sunset!

Rally starts on Saturday!
