Sunday in London - part 2

Continuing on from Sunday in London - part 1 (https://journeyinamazinggrace.blogspot.com/2026/07/sunday-in-london-part-1.html), we were walking toward Westminster...

We wanted to see Big Ben -- Carl got a great picture with the tower framed by a tree.

Our goal in going to Westminster was to attend the afternoon Organ concert at Methodist Central Hall.

Free concert on Sunday at 3pm

Concert was played by Johannes Geffert

After the concert, we were invited to stay for tea/coffee and biscuits (cookies).

Following the concert at the Methodist Central Hall, we headed over to get in line outside Westminster Abbey for an organ recital. This was played by Kumi Choi, a young lady trained in Korea, France, Germany, and Switzerland. She has been recognized with many awards and has performed at many venues across Europe. No pictures or videos allowed within Westminster Abbey.

We went back to Big Ben to see if we could find someone to take our picture -- and we did!

We decided to walk up so we could pass by the front of Buckingham Palace - these gardens are in the area around the circle in front of the palace.

Buckingham Palace -- I was surprised, we were not invited in... must be that Charles and Camilla didn't know we were there...

Back of Queen Victoria Memorial (easier to take a picture as the sun wasn't behind it!).

Enough for part 2 of Sunday...
