Finding shade (or not)

We were noticing how the various dairy cows found shade (or not).
Regina provided a tarp for shade for Mocha, but she is lying on the other side of her enclosure in the sun.
As Regina said, "She has it available to her, whether she chooses to use it or not is up to her!"

Jimmy had put a trailer in the dairy lot for them to clean the hay off of it. They are enjoying the gooseneck part of it as a "cow garage" - Morning Glory (I think) is in the "garage" and Martha is scratching her nose on the center raised part of the mineral feeder.
It must be tough to be a cow and to have hay fever!

One over in the shade of the shrub on the side of the lot.

Duracell, like Mocha, doesn't seem to care about being in the shade. She does, however, lay flat out. Maybe she is working on her tan?

In this one, Madeline is drinking water (the blue container in the center), Martha is above Madeline's back in the shade of the plants in the wire enclosure, Morning Glory is in the "cow garage" at the front of the trailer, and Mandy is under the shade of the bush far to the left. (I think I remember which cow was where when I took the picture... I can't really tell in the picture itself.)

There are all different ways to find shade!
