Friends

We had a nice rain at National Road Campground on Sunday evening.

We took a walk after the rain...

We realized that we had still not taken a picture with John and Jane...

So at least I got a picture of their motorhome! (albeit from a bit of a distance!)

 We went on another walk on Monday morning...

We had seen this squash vine before -- we checked... there were lots of blooms but no squash yet...

We don't know whether this had been specifically planted here, or was volunteer, or whether it had been planted and the ground had been pushed off to the side... Carl pointed out that squash are supposed to be planted in a "hill" - so this one is planted *on* a hill!

So... we finally remembered to get pictures -- of John and Jane...

And Jane took one of us!

We had SUCH a nice time visiting them. Today we moved up the road to visit another set of friends from the Escapee (SKP) Christian Fellowship - more pictures on this visit in the next day or so!
