We had listed both the Jeep (Jee-rage) and the Honda CR-V in several places to try to sell one of them. There was more interest in the CR-V, from both RVers wanting a toad and just regular folks wanting a Honda car. I got very few responses on the Jeep.
We listed both vehicles on iRV2 (https://www.irv2.com) (as toads) and Craigslist (with regular cars). The Honda was also listed on a Facebook group, "RV Tow Dollies/TOADS/Dinghys/ For sale in the USA" (I had sent in a request to post the Jeep, but it hasn't posted) and on the Wanderlodge Owner's Group (a forum of Bluebird owners). Carl got 13 folks interested in the CR-V, 4 from Craigslist and 9 from the Facebook group. I got one response from iRV2 on the Jeep. We were surprised at the interest from folks who would just use the CR-V as a car - we had priced each of them (CR-V and Jeep) with the consideration that they had a few thousand dollars worth of additional equipment making them towable behind a motorhome. The second person who contacted Carl (from the Facebook ad) drove his motorhome down from Pennsylvania, arrived today to see the CR-V, and purchased it! Meanwhile, Carl had two other folks who were anxiously waiting to hear whether this buyer passed on it as they were going to be on their way to see it later today if the first person didn't want it.
So... the CR-V has gone to a nice couple from Pennsylvania who will be using it to tow behind their Newmar Mountainaire motorhome! We're thankful that 25% of our vehicle inventory (2 motorhomes, 2 toads) has been liquidated! Now to re-home Miss Doozie!!!
