Gracie getting "house" services

It is odd when your "house" is in the shop, but, that's the situation this week as Gracie is undergoing service for some "house" systems at National Indoor RV Center (NIRVC) in Lewisville, TX.

Gracie in the "campground" at NIRVC

Gracie being driven to the shop by one of the technicians

I was away from the rig this morning as I had a doctor's appointment near downtown Dallas, so Carl had to deal with getting Miss Kitty contained in the back of the rig by himself... he said that she was not at all happy with him!

Later in the afternoon, they were ready to weigh Gracie...

Set up in the parking lot with the scales

The fellow who did the weighing was quite active...

Making sure that the scales were in just the right spot...

... and putting sheets of plywood down for the other tires so they would all be on the same level.

Result for the duals/drive axle

Full report -- no issues

After Gracie was returned to the "campground" we went up on the roof to inspect the new heat pump (/air conditioner) that had been installed.

We looked under the shroud, and all seemed to be correctly installed / insulated (when we had the front one installed last year, we had found some missing insulation).

Carl on the roof of Gracie (with the new service building for NIRVC just behind him).

Carl heading down the ladder -- the new heat pump is there in the middle.

We have a few more things on the list for the service center to deal with - hoping they are able to finish up quickly.
