West to North Little Rock

Friday was a long driving day - we were heading from the Nashville (Hendersonville) area to Livingston, TX, and 250 miles per day would have been an even split, but, 250 miles put us right at Memphis, TN from Hendersonville, and there weren't good free options (Harvest Hosts or other places that would let us park) around Memphis. There was an interesting place via Harvest Hosts, however, north of Little Rock, Arkansas, which meant that we drove about 100+ additional miles, but... that would mean that the next two days would be shorter.

We stayed Friday night at St Joseph Center of Arkansas (https://www.stjosephcenter.org/DISCOVER).

Parked at St Joseph Center

There is a pretty red-orange tree beside Gracie.

Some goats in an enclosure near where we're parked.

We went to the farmstand in the building near us...

A list of the items they have available in the farmstand...

Meat options available at the farmstand - beef, pork, buffalo, chicken, and turkey

The gift shop in the farmstand

As we walked back to Gracie, we went by the goats and saw another beastie across the enclosure...

... a baby calf - he (or she) was cavorting around and mooing - I'm not certain where the momma cow might be.

Another view of the building on the property - according to the information on the link I included above, it is a 56,000 sq ft building.

Another nice stay at a Harvest Host location. We were sorry that it came at the end of a very long travel day when we were too tired to take advantage of a tour or the opportunity to walk around the grounds...
