Miss Kitty had an appointment on Tuesday to visit the vet at Banfield.
She was *not* happy about it and shared her opinion quite loudly!Would she be happier if there was a "Cat Park" at the PetSmart? |
We have new food for Miss Kitty (a renal diet) -- she is eating it okay right now... the major issue is that she just is not eating well anymore. The vet diagnosed it as early-to-mid stage kidney disease, so we're treating her with renal diet food -- but the biggest concern is just to keep her eating well so she doesn't lose any more weight. As Dr Bill, my vet in Coppell, would tell me, if a cat doesn't die from something else, they will eventually die from kidney disease. We know that she is at least 14, maybe as much as 16 years old -- we'd love to have her for many more years, but... we accept that isn't up to us.
