I've posted a couple of times about our endeavor to get all of the brake lights working correctly on Gracie (https://journeyinamazinggrace.blogspot.com/2023/09/keeping-things-working.html, https://journeyinamazinggrace.blogspot.com/2023/10/last-things-at-rally.html, https://journeyinamazinggrace.blogspot.com/2023/10/third-brake-light-replacement.html).
The new brake light had been delivered, and some connectors too, so a couple of days ago, Carl worked on it...
Old brake light -- need to cut the wires and attach the new brake light to the existing wires.
New connectors tying the new light's wires to the old wires
New brake light connected -- tested with me pressing the brake pedal inside, whoops, the light comes on when the brake is released and the light turns off when the brake is pressed... quick reversal of wiring and all works correctly!
These are the solder seal wire connectors that Carl got -- they made it easy to make the connection between the wires, test it to make sure all was okay...

The box of connectors

Once the connection was tested to make sure it was correct, he used a heat gun to heat-shrink the connectors, heat the glue, and melt the solder.
All done!

It is nice to get another project completed! We keep on hoping that the list of projects to-do will get reduced to zero, but it hasn't happened yet!
