Camping at Hickory Creek COE campground

While in the Dallas area, after staying at Lake Tawakoni, we moved to the Hickory Creek Corps of Engineers campground on Lake Lewisville.

A couple of pictures of our site...

We had a very shady spot with a view of a branch of the lake.

We were enjoying sitting outside Gracie when we heard a very loud boat coming around the point... There was a "cigarette boat" on the lake. We couldn't imagine why they were using this kind of high powered boat on this lake. 

They took the boat out via the boat ramp across the branch of the lake from our site.
