When we originally booked our stay at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, we thought that we were going to be leaving Mexico on Saturday, 2/5, instead of Friday, 2/4. When we found out the actual date we would be leaving, we were unable to book an additional night in the same site we had for 2/5-2/12, so we booked a different site just for one night (Friday night). When we got into the park on Friday, we went ahead and filled with water and dumped our grey and black tanks, and then on Saturday morning during generator hours (8am-10am), we did two loads of laundry. After that was done, we could see that the RV that had been in our "next" site had left, so we went to the water/dump area, filled fresh again, and dumped grey again, to be ready for the next week here.

After we moved to the new site, we were outside on our patio area and heard this bird... he looked like a crow (and when we saw it later in the day, it cawed like a crow)...

but in the morning, he was making two different sounds -- I only captured one on video:
Later in the afternoon, we biked around the campground and appreciated the desert views...

The camphost had used the terminology that the dump station was at the "bottom" of the campground. It was not obvious to us until we were bike riding that there is quite a slope from the entrance of the campground down to where the dump station is as the far end. (The picture with me in it shows one of the flash flood crossing areas along the campground road.) We definitely enjoyed riding in one direction more than we did the other. We got a good ride and enjoyed a mostly relaxing day.
