On Wednesday, we moved from Wildwood to Clerbrook Golf and RV Resort near Clermont, Florida. This is an Encore park, so we can stay for no additional charge as Trails Collection members.
Since Encore parks are more residential / longterm resident parks, they tend to have more organized activities going on. We got a schedule of events when we arrived and saw that there was music and snacks on the schedule for Wednesday afternoon, so we went over there.

We got to meet a couple from Ontario who winter in the US. They told us about some of the parks in South Texas... one of the things that they shared was that while other states call the folks who escape the northern cold "winter visitors" or "snowbirds", in South Texas they are called "Winter Texans" -- which they felt made them more welcome.
Blog Posts Going to Spam Folder,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you know for the last couple of weeks, all the blog posts have been going to the SPAM folder in my Gmail account despite my marking them "Not Spam".
Bummer... I think that Gmail uses the indications of many of its users to determine that something is spam (or not spam) so I guess some of the other people who have subscribed in the past don't know that they can unsubscribe to stop getting the blog via email. It seems to me that if you indicate "not spam", it should "not be spam" for yourself, at least! But... what do I know?!?!?
