The Oaks at Point South campground

We have stopped for a few days (12) at The Oaks at Point South campground in Yemassie, SC, just at about the furthest south point in South Carolina right along I-95. This is a Thousand Trails campground, so we can stay for no charge (it is already paid for through our campground membership). We had not stayed at this campground previously, and we're glad to know it better now.

The sites are pretty close together (side-to-side) but they are all pull-thrus (except for ones around the outer edge) so no one is right at the back of your rig.

One of the campground roads - Gracie is the motorhome on the left.

Since we're so close side-to-side, we're very close to our neighbor's sewer hookup - right outside our door, as a matter of fact!

On the plus side, all the sites are full hookup, which means we have 50A electric, water, and sewer hookups. There are a couple of ponds on the property with walking trails around them, so we're getting our walking in each day. We had read from other campers that the acorns falling on the top of the camper could be pretty loud, but we've only heard thing falling on the roof a few times - so maybe most of the acorns have already fallen. All-in-all, this is a Thousand Trails campground that we would be interested in visiting again in the future.
