Cajun RV Festival 2024 - day 1 - evening activities

Friday evening at the Cajun RV Festival at The Isle of Iberia RV Resort in New Iberia, Louisiana...

We gathered at the clubhouse for supper -- we had been encouraged to wear our festival teeshirts and make use of the backdrop and props to have our pictures taken. Patti is the one with a crab on her head, and Carl has a headpiece on top of his cap - in case you cannot recognize us!

The first Cajun meal was crawfish etoffe which Carl enjoyed (I chose the alternative meal of meatloaf).

Folks gathered in the clubhouse - lots of green teeshirts in evidence!

The band was made up of three of the same folks who did the educational session in the morning, including Joel Martin -- called "Joel Martin and his band of Degenerates".

Many folks enjoyed dancing!

We noticed a young lady sitting over to the side who didn't seem to be part of our group but more part of the band -- when Carl got up, he saw that she had a whole soundboard on her tablet!
