Roofing

While the bee re-homing operation was happening on Saturday, Jimmy and Ricky were working on installation of roofing material on one of the huts:

Pulling a sheet of the roofing material up to the location where it will be installed

Installing another piece of the roofing material. This piece was further down the side of the hut than that in the first picture, so the scaffolding did not work as a support. Jimmy is standing on a pallet placed at the correct height by Ricky who had positioned the tractor and gotten the front end loader in just the right place, and then Ricky is on a ladder.

They are replacing a fabric-type covering that has deteriorated with painted (enameled?) steel panels, which should hopefully provide better service.
