Montana and west

We headed further west from Greycliff Mill on the 4th of July (Thursday)...

Some more views...

so pretty!

We stopped in Three Forks to visit the Wheat Bakery.

A couple of years ago, when we were visiting Wallace, Idaho...

... someone there recommended that Wheat Bakery in Montana had the very best cinnamon rolls.

We had gotten some that time (https://journeyinamazinggrace.blogspot.com/2022/08/montana-bound.html), so, on this trip through Montana, looked up where their locations were to be found and planned a stop in Three Forks.

That's a dinner plate (and dinner fork) to give you a perspective of size! Yummy!

We had reservations to stay at a Harvest Host in Missoula, Montana. It is a "ranch" that has a lot of different creatures...

... chickens...

We purchased two dozen eggs.

Gracie in her spot at the ranch

Fainting goats -- none of them "fainted" while we were there, but one became very stiff legged which is evidently what occurs that causes them to fall over.

A turkey with a couple of chicks, and a chicken in the foreground. This chicken was in the "Misfits" paddock which is where the chickens that are "hen-pecked" in the main group get placed so they aren't treated badly!

It was a good place to spend the night -- we had a view over the valley into the Kelly Island Fishing Access on the Clark Fork (river).

Friday morning, we continued west...

... entering Idaho.

We drove all the way across the panhandle of Idaho, stopped briefly in Post Falls to get fuel, and then got to Liberty Lake RV Park in Liberty Lake, Washington where our caravan officially begins on Saturday.
