Activities, friends, to-dos

On Thursday...

... we joined the line dance class at the resort where we're staying where we "learned" several new line dances ("learned" is in quotes because we at least danced them once, but whether we could do them again, I don't know!)...

... for lunch, we joined the resort's lunch cookout at the pool...

... where we got together with friends Donna and Allen who are staying at the same resort...

... after lunch and a nap, Carl started using some of the items that we had gotten at the hardware store, drilling and putting eye-bolts into the wood leveling blocks that Galen had given us last summer...

... tightening one of the eye-bolts...

... and the finished leveling blocks -- the eye-bolts makes it much easier to grab them out from under the rig with the awning hook that we have. You can also see there a new set of drill bits that we got from Home Depot - since we had had difficulty with the ones Carl already had on the door project a few days ago (https://journeyinamazinggrace.blogspot.com/2022/03/and-more-tasks.html), so there is another task to work on the door to come in the future...

... the small carabiner hook that we have on the break-away brake cable for the Jeep had gotten very rusty and hard to use...

... we had found one at "Wally's World", a hardware / anything you might think of store across the street from our RV park, so Carl replaced that. It probably will rust too, but, until it does, it should be easier to use!
