Around the campground pictures

A couple of recent pictures at campgrounds...

One of the camp attendants at Paul Wolff Campground in Elgin has a number of potted plants -- Google Lens identified this as Mandevilla, but that's supposed to be a vine, and this was in a hanging basket. Maybe it is a variety of Mandevilla. (I have a black thumb, i.e. any plant I contact dies... so I don't have interest in actually growing plants myself!)

A week and half ago on Wednesday, we moved to Thousand Trails Pine Country in Belvidere, Illinois. We have to be out of the county campground (Paul Wolff) for a week (we are allowed to stay for a max of 14 days out of 21), so we decided to move to Thousand Trails since we can stay there for up to 3 weeks for no charge with our membership. We plan to stay for 15 days and then move back to Paul Wolff for 14 more days before leaving the area.

TT Pine Country has a pool -- we invited Scott and family to come to enjoy the pool, and they came last Saturday -- unfortunately no pictures during their visit!

Staying out in Belvidere means we have a longer drive to visit friends and family and doctors and some stores, but... saving the $41/night county park camping fee (plus having full hookups so we can do laundry!) is an incentive!
