I decided to get a couple of pairs of SAS Shoes while in the Chicagoland area (to replace a couple that have gotten totally worn out)... we had visited the store here in the past and SAS Shoe stores are not easy to find everywhere.
They had the size and style of one of the two pairs I wanted, but I had to order the other one. While visiting Carl's Mom on Thursday, they called and said that my order had arrived. Since we were "close" to the store, we drove to get the shoes from Carl's Mom's place.

| When I was in the store, I noticed this promotion that you can style your sneakers -- Carl had looked at a pair when he was in the shop, and didn't like that they had white soles (he said he would get that so dirty!). |
I checked out the "style your own" and he would be able to have them make the shoes with a black sole!
