"Beauty and the Beast, Jr"

Carl's grandsons took part in a two week summer theater camp at their church, and the finale was a performance of a musical, "Beauty and the Beast, Jr". The story is much the same as the original, just slightly shortened to be done as a stage play.

An early scene, grandson Blaise is getting bread from the baker in the village.

In the Beast's castle, grandson Thatcher is one of the enchanted household items (a knife) guarding Belle's father, Maurice, as a prisoner.

A dance amongst the villagers, grandson Blaise is next the the girl in the pink skirt (on the left side of the stage).

After the actors and stage crew participated in just a two week camp, the play was amazingly well done!
