Dumping

We love being able to stay at the farm in our RV... Jimmy has made us a great place to park, with electricity hookups, water available when we need it...

Previously, we had taken Miss Doozie down to a dump station, either at an RV park that was about 12 miles away, or, more recently to the Love's Travel Stop, about 2.5 miles away, after they opened a couple of years ago.

Carl suggested that we look into using a "tote" to make use of Jimmy and Regina's septic field (commonly called a "blue boy": https://smile.amazon.com/s?k=rv+waste+tote+tank&ref=nb_sb_noss), but as we started discussing, Jimmy suggested that he had a "tote" that we could use, albeit quite a bit larger than the ones usually used for RVers.

Lining up for dumping
We've used it for a couple of dumps so far... we also got a macerating pump so we could pump "uphill" into the tote. We figure this can be useful in some campground situations where the sewer inlet is "uphill" from the campsite we are in.
