We had made plans to meet up with Pastor Gary and Inez in Pahrump on Friday, so we drove over the mountain pass and met them for lunch. We had good food at Johnny's and a nice visit!

We had talked during lunch about going back on the more northern route and when we continued our visit outside the restaurant, we noticed the snow still up on Mt Charleston. Gary suggested we take a slight detour on our route and go up toward Mt Charleston... so we did!
