Sunday afternoon, we had a potluck and concert by The Balyeats (https://www.thebalyeats.com/) at Steve and Nancy's church located in Wells, Nevada.

As we were leaving the rig, Miss Kitty was giving me a look that either said, "Are you leaving AGAIN?" or, "Don't you think we should be rolling those big black round things (aka tires) to someplace warmer?"

The Balyeats had done a concert for us via Facebook back in January when our group was in Quartzsite and they were visiting their son and family (in Missouri, I think).
As we were driving out of Wells, we saw something "interesting" in front of a house in town -- so I backed the Jeep up to get a closer look.

There was an owl on the ground. When Carl "Whoo-Whoo"d at it, it turned and looked at him!

I wonder if it is injured in some way -- it hopped (or walked, now I can't remember) across the yard a little ways and put its wings out, but did not fly away.
