Saturday meet-up with family

Happy Easter! Christ Is Risen! He Is Risen Indeed!

On Saturday, we met up with Joan and family for brunch at a Mexican restaurant in Santa Clarita, about halfway between where they live and where we are staying.

On the way down CA-14, I took a picture of this magnificent house/building on top of a hill - white building with concrete driveway snaking up the hill. Carl says that they have "good drainage". Hard to see in the picture but there are what we think are water caches up there too. If you want a satellite view, click here. Y'all are going to know I'm super nosy, but I also looked up the Zillow listing (here) -- it has an RV garage but only large enough for a 32' Class A -- guess we wouldn't want the property since Gracie is 40' -- and we're not sure how Gracie could make it up that hill either!

Outside the restaurant, a water fountain for dogs! There was a container on the top labeled "boneyard" which just had a couple of sticks and some trash in it. I don't know whether sometimes it has dog treats in it or what...

It was nice to get to see family one more time before we head out of the area on Monday!
