Fall plans

We are looking forward and realizing that our time in the Chicagoland area will be coming to an end in 2-3 weeks. We've got a tentative plan for our next travels that looks something like this:

Google Map version

Our current plan is to return to Virginia and finish getting Miss Doozie ready to sell, as well as work on selling Carl's Honda CRV (which is all set up to be a towed vehicle). We had considered waiting to sell Miss Doozie, but we've pretty much made up our minds (or, rather, I, Patti, have finally come to the same conclusion as Carl) that returning to a non-slide bus is not going to work for us - even though we both agree that the 2000 Blue Bird Wanderlodge is a much better built rig than the newer 2012 Dutch Star (Gracie).

We are then thinking that we will deliver some last things that I still have from Aunt Libby to cousin Marty and Irene on Amelia Island, head to Lewisville to get the awning installed on Gracie that we've been waiting for since April, and finally hope to finish up in Mesa, where Carl has an RV lot in an RV 55+ resort community, for the winter.

If you've been watching the maps on this blog, you may have developed the opinion that we do a lot of circling in the same areas... and it does not appear that we are changing that behavior for this fall... oh well, eventually we'll get to cover new ground!

So... if anyone is along our route and would like a visit, or may want to ask for us to make a detour on our route - let us know!
