Getting to Virginia

On our continuing journey east,

A couple of shots -- Gracie and the Jee-rage at a rest area in West Virginia...

... looking the opposite way at the rest area.

We stopped for the night at Glen Maury Park in Buena Vista, Virginia.

I think the house provides the name for the park (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glen_Maury).

Gracie in her spot... the campsites were a bit odd -- there were a number of pullthrus in the center, but there was one set of utilities allocated for 4 spots, so half of the spots (if it was full) would need to pull their cords and/or hoses across the neighboring spot. Thankfully, it was not full when we were there.

We decided to take a walk in the morning up past the house...

Pavilion and train caboose beyond the house

After leaving the campground, we continued on I-81/I-64 and then turned off east onto I-64...

There were a couple of scenic overlooks that were marked as "No Trucks" (Gracie self-identifies as a truck in these cases), so Carl took a picture as we drove by.

We got to Jimmy and Regina's farm mid-afternoon on Monday and we have settled in for a nice family visit!
