On Saturday, we headed back to the U.S. (Maine)...
South of St John, NB, it got really foggy...
... but it cleared up to just being very overcast by the time we got to border control, "Welcome to the United States"
We stopped for diesel where we had fueled up in Calais, ME, the last day before we went into Canada, almost two months ago! The pump price for fuel isn't too much cheaper than we were paying in Canada, but we now get a discount with our fleet card at Irving truck stop stations in the US.
We also refilled our DEF containers -- we thought we had carried enough to provide what we needed in Canada, but we ended up having to purchase a 2.5 gallon container on Prince Edward Island -- we paid as much on PEI for 2.5 gallons as we paid for almost 5.5 gallons in Maine.

Saturday was my birthday, so Carl had researched and found a couple of restaurant options near where we would be staying in Ellsworth, Maine, and I picked a Mexican restaurant...
Carl got the super nachos appetizer...
... and I got quesadillas -- yum!
We ordered a Molten Chocolate Lava cake for desert...
... and the waitresses brought it with a song to celebrate my birthday!
It is nice being back in the US (although just for about a week at this point). We were able to order our mail to be sent to the campground, as well as a number of Amazon orders (Carl has been in Amazon-withdrawl!). We're hoping to see family and friends before we head to Quebec in a few days.
