Friday was another sea day -- the seas were a bit rougher, which could make moving about the ship more challenging!

We saw a rainbow in the low clouds off our balcony (just left of center). |

Dr Ngaire was doing another lecture -- this one on our second port of call (Sunday) in Vanuatu. |

Spacial location information |

We're going to the area in the circle (I was very impressed with her remote control that allowed her to not only advance the slides, but also highlight a specific area at will!). |
 |
A little closer up picture - the group of islands that make up Vanuatu is toward the left and up from the center. |

Some more information about Vanuatu |

We are specifically visiting Mystery Island, way down south in the Vanuatu islands. |

Hmmm - evidently you can have your picture taken in the cauldron! |

As we headed back to our stateroom, in the atrium we saw a corn hole (baggo? bean bag toss?) competition going on between the Celebrity officers and passengers. |

A little later in the atrium (around noon), we participated in a cha-cha class given by two of the Celebrity show dancers. |
A video of a portion of the lesson can be found here: https://youtube.com/shorts/lUe-sYuXcw0

We went up to the top deck thinking that we might watch a movie on the outdoor lawn screen -- instead, we watched a couple of folks working on blowing glass projects. |

Some examples of the blown glass pieces that can be made in the Hot Glass Class area. |

We went down a deck to the pool area and observed the pool water with big waves... there was netting across the pool to block it off from use. |

After dinner, we went to the theater to see Stephen Barry --

He is listed as a classical crossover artist... he had a beautiful voice... |

... and a unique comedic style! We thoroughly enjoyed his show! |

Right after the show, we stopped at a "game show" called "The Whisper Game" -- 5 people on each team had to pass a message from one to the other (like the telephone game when we were kids) -- it was augmented by them having headsets on that kept them from hearing anything that was being said. The host would use the microphone so we could hear what each contestant thought they heard and how the phrase got messed up in the process. It was quite funny! |
We visited a couple of the music venues but didn't really find any music to our taste for dancing... but we did manage to stay up past 10pm, which, I think, was a first for us since we left the US!
