Last day in Saxon Harbor

Wednesday was our last full day in Saxon Harbor.

Carl wanted to fly the drone -- when he had attempted flying it at Rich and Marcia's, it kept on flying to one side. He found he needed to calibrate it multiple times, and then it straightened up and flew right (or, rather, straight!).

Above the coach - looking back toward the woods behind where we are parked.

The campground was relatively empty as the folks parked near us headed out on Tuesday or Wednesday morning and no one new checked in.

Looking down toward Lake Superior

Another view toward the lake -- the tree right next to Gracie looks as if it thinks we are in autumn.

There are more RVs on the other side of the campground loop and in the lower loop of the campground.

Carl had planned a steak dinner on the smoker for my birthday, but we had other things come up... so he executed this gorgeous dinner on Wednesday -- steak (from the beef farm we visited a few weeks ago), asparagus, and saute'd mushrooms -- YUM!

We made a last walk down to the lake...

... it was MUCH calmer than it had been on Tuesday.

It has been very overcast and grey while we've been at Saxon Harbor, but we've still enjoyed the stay here.
