On Thursday we moved sites within the Herbster Campground, from site 12 to site 7. When we made reservations, we were not able to get one single site for the whole time we wanted to be here, so we booked one site for 3 nights and another site for 4 nights.

It was time to change the filters on the RO (Reverse Osmosis) system, so Carl got that chore completed on Thursday afternoon.

Later in the afternoon, we thought a big truck with 5th wheel had arrived to take the site in front of us (that seems like a *big* truck to pull that 5th wheel), but, evidently the site was reserved and not for them.

From what we have heard, it appears that this is the first year that this campground has taken reservations (it was first-come, first-served before), so people who have stayed here before are showing up expecting to get a site, and are being turned away.

Whoever reserved the site in front of us never showed up, so we've had an unobstructed view of the lake...

We were outside enjoying a fire when the sun set painting the sky beautiful colors!
