Hike with niece Ginny!

On Wednesday, we had arranged to meet niece Ginny for a hike near Tucson.

We agreed to meet at the Sweetwater Preserve Trailhead.

There are a number of trails that can be accessed from this point - different loops and joining trails.

There were a lot of different types of cacti on the hike - though the most visible were saguaros.

There were also chollas.

Carl remembered one of his first hikes in Arizona when he saw one of these and was about to reach out to touch it when a more knowledgeable friend cautioned him against it!
