We joined with the church here at Venture Out on Sunday morning and the "Gabfest" afterwards (coffee and donuts -- we both skipped the donuts and I skipped the coffee!).
In the afternoon, we enjoyed a "Musical Jam" with folks who want to share their musical talents -- many of them were from the park here with some visiting from outside the park.

We had seen one of these jams a couple of years ago at a different resort in Mesa -- Mesa Spirit -- they have one guy who kind of manages the event, and he gives each performer their opportunity to play whatever they want. The others will accompany / augment the primary performer with their own unique skills. It is interesting and enjoyable to watch and listen to!
