Saturday evening is the time for the group potluck, so, after enjoying being outside and in the pool during the day, we came together for evening meal together.

We enjoyed a fire after dinner, but could hear thunder presaging a storm, and soon we decided we'd better get things put away and closed up -- we had just gotten everything put away when the skies opened up and the rain came down. We were glad to have nice dry campers to hunker down in.

We could hear the cars practicing in the afternoon, and racing starting about 8pm. I think they stopped during the rain, but then had fireworks after the rain (which had evidently been previously rain-delayed: https://www.dellsracewaypark.com/news/?i=95011&clk=featureNews), and more racing after the rain.
