Wednesday

Wednesday started with storm warnings in the morning, but thankfully no big impact where we were.

We met friends Bob and Laura for lunch (forgot to take pictures!). They have a park model 4-5 lots down from ours at Venture Out in Mesa. They are spending the summer at their daughter's house in Batavia, Illinois. They are both hams (amateur radio enthusiasts).

We went by Scott and Kristen's house and picked up some of the many packages that have been accumulating there for us. We were not able to fit all of them in the Jee-rage (we need to clean out some stuff from the Jee-rage!), but we got some, and hope to get more today. It is so nice to have a place where we can send our packages!

In the afternoon and evening, we did more picture scanning. It is a huge job, but it is good to get going on it.

Though there were storms in the area in the evening, they again did not impact where we were.
