A new home!

Not for us!!! But on Friday, we drove to see Steve and Shay's new home! 

On the way, we planned to stop at a restaurant in Lake Zurich to pick up lunch... unfortunately, the road we needed to take to get to the restaurant indicated "no through traffic". We thought that we might be able to drive on it far enough to get to the restaurant but...

... it was well and truly closed!

... was being repaired after evidently being torn up! We parked a little ways away...

... and walked to the restaurant, Craving Gyros, right on the corner. Unfortunately for them, they weren't at all busy since getting there was quite a challenge!

We picked up lunch and then headed over to Steve and Shay's new home...

Steve welcomed us in...

It is a beautiful home!

We enjoyed lunch with them...

Pretty home!

So exciting for them to be moving into their first home and starting their journey of property ownership!
