It has been a while since Carl flew his drone so he decided to try it out on Sunday afternoon. Here are some pictures from our area:
Carl preparing to pilot the drone - he said he had to re-learn how to fly it! We were thinking back and we think that he had not flown it since July in Wisconsin! |
A ground level picture from the drone |
There is Gracie with the red Jeep in front in the parking area at NIRVC |
We were in a gravel area to the side of their property, next to a drainage ditch (this picture looks toward the road down the gravel area with a view of the "For Sale" coaches in the parking area). |
Now turning to look toward the Jee-rage and Gracie again... |
And turning again, this shot shows us in the gravel area and looks toward the back of the parking lot and the back of the building. |
Another view of the front of the parking lot along with the Jee-rage and Gracie. |
The two of us in the gravel area... |
A new way to do selfies! |
Carl is cautious when he is flying the drone - it has "fallen from the sky" at one point in the past, so he doesn't want to have it over any people, vehicles, or other items that could be damaged if it fell on top of them. It also is a lower quality drone, so its pictures and videos aren't of the quality that you might see produced by other video-bloggers. But, we enjoy getting pictures from a different aspect, and it is good for that!
