Saturday - First day of SKP Christian Fellowship Rally

After waking up to a beautiful sunrise in the desert on Saturday morning (https://journeyinamazinggrace.blogspot.com/2022/01/progress-on-friday.html), we headed up onto the roof to clean and tilt our solar panels to try to get as much energy from the sun as possible.

A panorama picture of our group...

Carl raising the back panel -- Jan's 5th wheel close behind us, and trailers belonging to other folks (not part of our group) further in the distance.

Another view down our segment of the desert - our friends Janice and Steve are returning down the middle of our group after going out early Saturday morning to dump waste and fill fresh tanks.

The "entrance" to our segment of the desert with our Christian Fellowship sign at the entrance. Way, way, *way* down there at the end is Gracie (she is black and grey and therefore hard to see). The good part is that we get a lot of exercise, the bad part is that we need to plan ahead and leave earlier to get to the gathering spot (near the middle) in time for events!

Lined up for chili supper -- We were a wee bit late (note comment above about need to plan ahead and leave earlier) so were near the back of the line, but there was plenty for everyone!

Saturday started with a "meet and greet" in the afternoon and continued with supper and a fire. We'll have gatherings every day and many times to get together and fellowship throughout the week. Internet is pretty slow once people are awake, so posts may not happen every day, but we'll do our best!
