Sower week 3 - Tuesday

We are down to the last 3 days!

The "Crazy Quilt Tile" table and benches were moved to their permanent location on Monday...

... so Becky and I started painting...

... a slightly posed picture!

Meanwhile the ROAMers were working on getting the plumbing to the water fountain working.

When the guys placed the table on its bases, the holes for the pipe from the base were exposed. We had wondered what was going in there -- we thought there must be an umbrella or something, but no... so the guys decided to cover each of the holes with grout...

We didn't like that, so we chipped out the grout...

...and some of our special tile pieces...

Okay... it looks bad now, but it is in process!

At break, I took a picture of Carolyn's painting pants -- they look like a new style to me! Better than the ones with all the holes that seem to be so popular now!

Back to the table after break - I had finished chipping out the covering grout and cleaned up the holes, while Becky found the wet saw (it was down at the Omega building) and cut the tile pieces that we needed. After break, we put the glue in..

... and put our new pieces in -- one end...

... and the other end.

Finishing up for the day on the table project, we took our supplies back to the maintenance area (Becky is stylin' the caulking gun slung from her belt loop)...

... before heading up to the shuffleboard courts to help some on that project -- Group leader Barb along with Becky are removing the tape that was put onto the numbers and lines during the earlier painting.

At the Omega building, work is continuing on the flooring...

Group leader Bill and Dave are cutting tiles outside...

DJ and Wes are completing work on the door frame.

Multiple projects all coming to the finish line!
