We awoke on Wednesday morning in Newfoundland, in a campground called Grand Codroy RV and Tent Camping, in Doyles, part of the Codroy Valley.
The campground was not very full, and we had a nice view over the water. |
Trash and recycling containers in the campground |
Walking back toward Gracie from the trash |
We could see snow at the tops of mountains as we continued north up the west coast of Newfoundland. |
View out the front window |
Lakes and bays and water inlets and rivers all around |
So pretty! |
The sign warns "Be Moose Alert" |
We arrived at our next campground, Water's Edge Campground in Birchy Head, Newfoundland |
The name of the campground is very descriptive! |
We are pulled in right at the edge of the South Arm of Bonne Bay. |
Looking out toward Bonne Bay |
Some of our campground neighbors have an inflatable canoe and they went out to go fishing... |
... they caught quite a number of fish, though they were doing catch and release, so it may have been the same fish over and over again! |
Enjoying the view from in front of Gracie |
Looking further inland along the South Arm |
We have driven through some areas of Gros Morne National Park, and plan to visit more of it in the coming days.
