Fantasy Caravan Day 26 - Fairbanks - part 2 - University of Alaska Fairbanks museum

After our riverboat ride, the motorcoach took us to the University of Alaska Fairbanks museum.

We had a close encounter with a brown / Grizzly bear!

If the folks in Chicken, Alaska, had this display, they would have known how to spell Ptarmigan!

Wow, that's quite a dress!

Back of the dress -- it doesn't look very comfortable to wear!

I did not realize until we've been here that brown bear and Grizzlies are the same.

Outside the museum -- the view is of the Alaskan Range -- but the clouds are pretty much obscuring it.

We may have been dealing with a bit of post-lunch lull, or information overload, or just ready to crash -- but we all finished up at the museum pretty quickly and were ready to head back to the campground!
