We had a second free day in Homer -- many people had planned to go fishing for halibut but we had decided against it (we heard that it was a 9 hour trip, 2.5 hours to the fishing location, 2.5 hours back, and $400-$450/person -- we realize that the value is the experience, but that seems pricey even for fresh fish!). It was a chilly overcast day, so we did some chores around home (laundry, checking lights on Jeep and Gracie), and headed into town for a stop at "Save-U-More" which my friend, Mike, described as an "eclectic Costco"!
We were anticipating a grocery-type store, and it has groceries; it also has hardware/tools, automotive, filters for R/O systems -- and groceries of all kinds! It carries some Costco brand (Kirkland) items too.

Carl was impressed to see White Castle burgers in the freezer compartment.

I saw this package in Cyrillic (Russian) characters (sunflower seeds)...
... many languages on the back...
... including Hebrew on the bottom right side (characters reading from right to left).
A number of items that we had not seen before -- these are from Bulgaria...
Seaweed Salad
Beets (maybe pickled beets)
Hatch peppers in the produce section -- Mild, Hot, and XX Hot!
Local salad greens
I thought this was funny just because it reminds me of things we do in the RV -- the freezer compartment door no longer auto-closes, so there is a sign asking customers to ensure it is closed, but there is also a bungee-type cord attached inside and then run outside and heavily taped to the outside of the door to help to keep the door closed!

Back at the campground. There were a lot of empty sites since Wednesday morning when another Fantasy group moved out.
Later in the day, a large group of "silver Twinkies" (as Carl and his brother called them when they were younger -- Airstreams) moved in and filled all the empty spaces.
