One of our neighbors is a violin master -- she plays with several different orchestras in Canada as well as individually, and she tutors students. She and her husband are renting an RV lot on our block and their neighbor, Bonnie, one of our block captains, arranged for her to do a solo concert for folks on our block...

She did several selections written just for violin, and then did a "name that tune" where she played a piece and we were challenged to come up with the name, artist, and what it was from. It was interesting that some of the pieces we recognized we knew from them being background music in Bugs Bunny cartoons!
It was so nice of Lise and David to agree to entertain us (and for Bonnie to have the idea)!
