Monday...

On Monday...

... our lot (patio) was the site for the block's happy hour on Tuesday, so Carl decided to "vacuum" the grass as it had some things that had blown onto it.

We had tickets for a concert at the center so went up there about sunset -- this is a picture from the ballroom (second floor) looking west past the west pool. Gorgeous!

The Tonedevil Brothers, Anthony and David Powell, sons of a resident at Venture Out, did a concert Monday evening sponsored by the Woodshop Club (I think their father is a member of the Woodshop Club).

The description from our "Outlines" activity booklet: "Reflecting diverse musical influences, brothers Anthony and David Powell, will be serving up brotherly harmonies and a vintage sound of original songs and arrangements of western swing, bluegrass, blues, singer-songwriter, and Americana. Best known as stringed instrument engineers, this acoustic performance features their own custom made Tonedevil Harp Guitars!"

We enjoyed the different sound, but... maybe once was enough for us to enjoy this particular concert...
