Some pictures around "The Ranch"

We've stopped for a few days at the Escapees Co-op park, "The Ranch" in southeastern New Mexico...

I had a package to mail, so we went out Saturday morning to get that done at the not-very-large but very helpful Lakewood, NM post office.

Every afternoon at "The Ranch", there is Happy Hour. It starts at 4pm, and at about 4:30pm, there are announcements. New arrivals are welcomed (we had been welcomed on Friday afternoon) and quizzed about where they are coming from, how long they are staying, where they are heading, etc., etc.. Any birthdays or anniversaries are announced and celebrated. If anyone is leaving, the group sings "Happy Trails to You" to send them on their way!
