Our block in the park (800 block of Douglas) has a block party about once a month or so during the season. There was one held on our lot in January while we were gone, and in February, there was a "Taco in a Bag" lunch (https://journeyinamazinggrace.blogspot.com/2024/03/some-more-random-pictures.html). It was time for another party down our end of the street, and our nextdoor neighbor, Barb, and across-the-street neighbor, Linda, asked if it could be held on our patio (we have more space than most others), and we agreed.

Everyone brings food to share and their own beverages and chairs. It is a good time to meet neighbors or get better acquainted with folks we already know!
