Happy First Day of Spring! I didn't know that the first day of spring moved to different days... in fact, I thought it was always on March 21! It turns out that the last day that the vernal equinox was on 3/21 was in 2007, and won't be again until 3/21/2102!  (https://www.almanac.com/vernal-equinox-oddities)

Back to regular news! I'm catching up on pictures again...

Carl enjoyed the Pet Association sponsored Corned Beef & Sauerkraut lunch on Thursday.

Friday was our last Friday Night Dance for this season -- many folks were attired in St Patrick's Day themed clothing!

On Saturday morning, Carl joined a couple of his Ham Radio buddies to attend the Scottsdale Hamfest.

One of the items for sale was this coffee pot that was the same as one Carl remembers his family having when he was growing up.

It turns out that both Tom and Nick are White Castle aficionados...

... so they stopped there for lunch!

Also on Saturday was the Electronics Club Sponsored Raffle drawing -- there was a group of ladies from Venture Out singing Irish tunes while we waited for the drawing.

We didn't win... but a fellow on our block was one of the raffle winners and got a new laptop!

We are preparing to leave Venture Out on Tuesday (3/19), so we're preparing our new-to-us park model for the summer ("summerizing", it is called!). We decided to take our new-to-us patio furniture to store under the awning at the park model (so both tables and all the chairs are stored there for the summer). We figure that the awning will provide some protection from weather.

We're busy closing things up to prepare to leave!
