St Patrick's Day Parade

Sunday was the St Patrick's Day Parade at Venture Out -- even though that was actually St Patrick's Day, the parade was originally scheduled for Friday. However, on Friday, there were lots of rain storms predicted (and they actually happened). Since folks would be decorating their golf carts for the parade, the line dancers would be doing an Irish dance at 6 stops within the park (and we weren't excited about doing a "Splashdance"!), and the Sing 'n' Strum group would be playing and singing... the activities office postponed it to Sunday afternoon.

With the parade scheduled on Friday, neighbor Barb had offered to drive us... but on Sunday, she had family visiting, so she kindly offered to allow us to use her golf cart!

There were a lot of people with green attire and decorated bikes and golf carts!

It was a lot of fun!
