A nice Saturday bike ride on the Prairie Trail

Friends Greg and Candis had asked if we could join up for a bike ride with them and Bob and Kathy, and Saturday worked out to be the day that worked for all of us...

We started with an unbelievable spread of food for brunch at Candis and Greg's lovely home...

Just a couple of blocks away from their house was the Prairie Path (https://ipp.org/about-the-trail/) - such a nice path for bike riding!

We rode around St James Farm... now a part of the forest preserve (https://www.dupageforest.org/places-to-go/st-james-farm)...

The Horse and Hound Cemetery is still on the farm...

We all survived and were still smiling at the end of the ride!

We rode just under 15 miles, almost two hours. Carl and I have not been riding our bikes recently (we think the last time was back at the end of April at Kaibab National Forest south of the Grand Canyon!) but we did okay! It was great to be with friends and out enjoying that our bodies are still working!!!
